Therapy Rates

$195 for 50-minute initial intake session

$150 for 50-minute therapy session

I offer a reduced rate to clients based on need. Contact me to learn more.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service and will be charged to the credit/debit card on file. Cash and checks are also accepted.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly for my services. However, many insurance companies will cover my services as an out-of-network provider. If you have a PPO policy, I can provide a “super bill” that you could submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A super bill is a detailed record of payment with special codes for the service that was provided along with my license number.

I recommend calling your insurance company to find out what reimbursement is available for out-of-network psychotherapy services, as reimbursement is not always guaranteed. If you are looking for an in-network provider, Psychotherapy Today is a helpful directory.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

• Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
• Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Scheduling Appointments

I encourage clients to schedule recurring appointments to ensure we can meet the same day and time on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Recurring appointments are scheduled in 2-to-3-month increments. If you cancel 2 or 3 recurring appointments in a row, all future scheduled appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before your schedule appointment. I understand unexpected things happen so I provide clients with one exception to the cancellation policy. After that you may be charged a $100 missed session fee for a late cancellation or not showing up for a scheduled appointment.
